Surgical Technician – Los Angeles County

Summary:
Responsible to function as the "scrub technologist" in the surgical suite and other clinical areas, which consists of the selection and set-up of the sterile table with instruments, supplies and equipment; the passing of instruments to the surgeon during the procedure; maintaining sterile technique and caring for instruments following the procedure.
Required Qualifications:
- National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire.
- Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 2 years experience as a surgical technologist the ability to competently scrub all regularly performed procedures in five of the eight core service-line clusters (cardiac, thoracic/vascular, orthopedics, spine, general/urology/gynecology, EENT/plastics/maxillofacial, neuro, robotics). Of the five service-lines, three must be general/urology/gynecology, orthopedics, and spine.
Compensation:
Base Salary - $57,564 to $82,910
