They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Technologist to join their team.

Position Overview: We are looking for a qualified Surgical Technologist to assist the surgical team during operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and assisting surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures. The Surgical Technologist plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of surgical operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and properly sterilized.
  • Assist surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during procedures.
  • Anticipate the needs of surgeons and nurses during surgeries and provide assistance accordingly.
  • Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures to minimize the risk of infection.
  • Handle and dispose of surgical specimens in accordance with established protocols.
  • Assist with patient positioning and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Clean and restock operating rooms after surgeries, ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized and stored.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in sterilization techniques and operating room protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
