  Shift: 3x12 days, 630a-7p
  4-5 call shifts per month
  Weekend Requirement: one working weekend shift every 4 weeks

  First-timers accepted
  National Certs REQ: NBSTSA, BLS,
  Open to accommodating block schedule -per manager's discretion
  Local accepted that are 50 miles or more from site
  All RTO must be provided at the time of submission, Approvals based on dept needs
  
  Preferred: Epic experience
  
  The Main Operating Room is within a level-one, academic trauma center. There are 21- OR suites which cover all surgical specialties, to include; Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The nursing teams consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologist. RN’s are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The Main OR is a busy and dynamic nurse driven, Magnet designated department, that provides cutting-edge technology to the citizens of SC.
  
  Parking Cost: Nights and wekeends only. One time payment of $20 for parking pass
  
  *Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.

  Travel Qualification

  • Must submit a Completed Application & Skill checklist & Update Resume
  • SC or Multi-State compact RN license, PALS, BLS, ACLS
  • Must submit 2 Professional References
  • Local radius: 50 miles. Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis at lower rate
  • Perm staff(this includes PRN) must be separated from the MUSC system for a full 6 months before traveling with any MUSC location.
  • RN LICENSE:DO NOT NEED SOUTH CAROLINA LICENSE IN HAND, JUST NEED PROOF THEY HAVE APPLIED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION OR CONFIRMATION THAT THEY WILL WALK-THROUGH
