Currently seeking experienced Surgical Techs to work alongside some very well-respected Surgeons, as well as talented and caring medical professionals.

The Surgical Technologist, working under the direct supervision of the perioperative nurse, performs the duties of a scrub person. Prepares supplies for case, sets up and maintains the sterile field, passes instruments and supplies to the surgeon, readies used instruments for the cleaning and re-sterilization process. Able to take call independently and can respond for all specialties except cardiac.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a surgical technologist in an acute multi-specialty environment, evidencing independent performance in a variety of surgical specialties
• Successful completion of accredited Surgical Technology training program, or equivalent as determined by Director of Perioperative Services.
• AHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS)Preferred: Certification as a surgical technologist (CST or TS-C)
