Weekend requirements: Open Heart Call rotation
Call requirements: every other week (one week on, one week off)
#of ORs: 2 heart and vascular rooms
Years of experience REQ: 3-5 years
Any specific experience preferred/required: Cardio thoracic and vascular. Vein Harvest experience preferred.
First-timers accepted: up for discussion
Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? This position will require coverage in the main OR when there are no cardiac or vascular cases.
Locals accepted: No, What is the local radius rule? 60 miles
Certifications required: NBSTSA, BLS, radiation badge

Perm staff(this includes PRN) must be separated from MUSC system for a full 6 months before traveling with any MUSC location.

RN LICENSE: DO NOT NEED SOUTH CAROLINA LICENSE IN HAND, JUST NEED PROOF THEY HAVE APPLIED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION OR CONFIRMATION THAT THEY WILL WALK-THROUGH.

Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
Hourly rate: $48.75/hr
10% Bonus: If you can complete the application packet and get submitted within 5 business days.
