Travel: None.
Shift: Various

Salary: Starting at $54k to $83k, plus SIGN ON BONUS

Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our medical team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will work alongside surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that surgical procedures are conducted safely and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare the operating room, assist with surgical procedures, and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.

Must Have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of surgical tech experience in an acute setting.
  • Completion of a surgical technologist program.
  • Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
  • Current BLS
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and perform other physically demanding tasks.

Duties:
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment to perform diagnostic exams.
  • Review patient medical history and assess contraindications to MRI.
  • Prepare patients for MRI exams, explain the procedure, and answer questions.
  • Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort during the exam.
  • Inject contrast agents, if necessary, and monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Monitor the MRI image quality during the exam and adjust as necessary.
  • Communicate with the radiologist and other healthcare professionals to provide patient care.
  • Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from magnetic fields.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality.
  • Participate in quality control and assurance programs to maintain high standards of care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Sign on bonus of up to $10k
  • Shift Options:
    • Five 8-hr shifts.
    • Four 10-hr shifts.
    • Three 12-hr shifts.
  • Locations all over Houston available.
