Job Description
Certified Surgical Technicians are an integral part of the surgical team providing surgical care to patients in a variety of settings. They perform various tasks to provide technical support during pre-, intra- and postoperative phase of surgical procedures. The certified surgical technicians ensure the operating room environment is safe, equipment functions properly, and operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Surgical technicians possess expertise in theory and application of sterile and aseptic techniques, while combine the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures and to facilitate surgeons performance.

Requirements
All applicants should possess a valid nursing license and have at least 2 years of experience in their specialty. This is a crisis contract so absenteeism is not expected on this assignment.
