Skills and Job Functions
The Speech Therapist works under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor and the Rehab Services Manager. He/she is responsible to organize and conduct medically prescribed speech and language pathology services to inpatients, outpatients and contracted services. Provides comprehensive speech/language pathology services, upon physician order, to patients exhibiting communication, cognitive and / or swallowing disorders, in order to restore function, prevent disabilities, assist the patient in reaching maximum performance, and help them learn to live within the limits of their capabilities.
Experience, Licensures and Certifications
- At least 1 year experience as Speech Pathologist working in Inpatient or Outpatient setting.
- Must already have their CCC prior to being submitted for this position.
- No new graduates please.
- Current license as Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Wyoming prior to start of assignment.
- BLS is required through American Heart Association.
Schedule requirements
- Schedule is 8 hour days working 40 hours per week.
Additional Information
Speech Therapist will be seeing patients in the inpatient, outpatient, home health and long-term care settings.
- 60% outpatient-40% inpatient/nursing home-40 hours guaranteed.
