SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST / SLP

NEEDED - NYS LICENSED SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS - EXCELLENT RATES - SNF SETTING – Westchester County, NY.
Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities- The Speech Language Pathologist in a nursing home environment
- Diagnoses and treats speech and language problems.
- Evaluates speech and language skills as related to educational, medical, social, and psychological factors.
- Plans, directs, or conducts rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency of individuals with communication problems of organic and non-organic etiology
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others.
Speech Language Pathologist Requirements
- Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Master's Degree specifically in Speech Pathology
- Full CFY coverage available from a supportive, experienced SLP CCC.
- Must have current New York State License in SLP profession.
