This position is located near the AZ border located just 3 hours from Tucson, AZ and 2 hours from Las Cruces, NM. Position: Speech Language Pathologist
Job Summary:
The Speech Pathologist is responsible for evaluating patients, establishing a plan of care and treating patients who require speech/ language therapy services. S/he delivers patient care within accepted boundaries of SLP Practice as defined by the New Mexico State Board of Speech Language Pathology, standards and policies accepted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, The Medical Center and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
***Must have experience and ability to do modified barium studies and dysphasia management***
Job Qualifications
- Minimum Masters Degree
- New Mexico Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license). If temporary or provisional license, must obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
- AHA BLS within 90 days of hire
