Job Description

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in St. Petersburg, Florida. This full-time position offers a stable, rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across pediatric and adult populations.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home strategies, and techniques to support progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, educators, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in speech-language pathology.
  • Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and facility policies, including standards established by ASHA and the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Florida SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred).
  • CPR certification (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous clinical experience preferred but not required.

Work Environment:
  • Full-time position with consistent, predictable scheduling (40 hours per week).
  • Potential work settings include hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, or home health.
