Evaluates and treats patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, communication, cognition, hearing and dysphasia disorders. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of patients served services involved in patient care. Coordinates efforts toward discharge goals established at initial evaluation and during episode of care.
Certifications: Must have SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and BLS certificate. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
Inpatient and Outpatient settings
EMR: EPIC experience preferred, but not required.
Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment previously.
Shifts: 8/10-hour Days position M-F 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient. Schedule may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
