Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team. This as-needed role is ideal for an SLP who is passionate about helping individuals of all ages overcome speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders while enjoying a flexible schedule. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse caseload across pediatric and adult populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders

• Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans

• Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing needs

• Collaborate with physicians, educators, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

• Educate clients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards

• Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in speech-language pathology

• Uphold ethical and professional standards established by ASHA and the Alabama State Board
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Active Alabama SLP license

• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred

• Experience with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
