Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Red Bay, AL. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders while providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative healthcare environment on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment strategies and home programs
- Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes in compliance with standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Maintain flexibility to provide coverage as needed
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Alabama SLP license and ASHA certification (or eligibility)
- Clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome
- Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying schedules
