Adelphi is seeking a qualified Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist/Speech Language Therapist who can provide online therapy services to students during school-day hours at a facility in Porterville, California.

Responsibilities:
• Perform initial evaluations, caseload management and assessments
• Administer diagnostic tests, and prepare reports and summaries on diagnosis, prognosis, progress, and recommendations for clients identified.
• Confer with team members and employees regarding progress and treatment.
• Train employees in therapeutic procedures and methods of motivating clients toward communications strategies.
• Be familiar with the special needs of the developmentally disabled.
• Communicate well with clients who are developmentally disabled.
• Provide assessment and remediation of communication needs of clients which includes speech, voice, fluency, and language, and evaluate the need for augmentative communication devices that may be necessary based on referrals.
• Participate as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team in the development and implementation of IPPs and /or IEPs for those clients identified as needing further assessment regarding speech, communication and swallowing, etc.
• Provide documentation on specific procedures conducted, results, and prognosis.
• Provide surgical report for all surgical procedures.
• Provide recommendations for follow-up treatment, observations, examinations.
