Rock Springs is a 72-bed behavioral hospital located near Georgetown, TX .The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents and their families. At Rock Springs we are dedicated to Changing People’s Lives®.
As the Clinical Program Manager, you will be a member of the leadership team at Rock Springs. Our team drives a “Clinical First” attitude to help fulfill our mission of “Changing People’s Lives®”. As a Clinical Program Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight of all clinical treatment programs of patients receiving treatment in our Help for Heroes program. The Clinical Program Manager will assist with briefings at Military Installations and First Responder Departments and conduct CEU trainings for a clinical audience. The Clinical Program Manager will have an opportunity to be trained in evidence supported treatments for trauma therapy include Cognitive Processing Therapy.

Position Details
- Supervise individual, group and family therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems.
- Supervise treatment track programming (Mental Health, Addictions, and/or Trauma) specific to the individual needs of the patient in alignment with program expectations and guidelines.
- Displays active involvement in treatment planning process. Communicates with military base providers appropriately when track assignment is unclear for active duty service members.
- Assure high quality clinical care is provided to ensure clinical functions are integrated including ensuring the clinical documentation is current and accurate and meets all regulatory requirements.
- Actively communicates with clients, families, and outside referral sources. Demonstrates proactive communication with those involved with the patient’s treatment. Makes sure that the correct information is received by the correct military referral provider for active duty service members.
- Demonstrates appropriate crisis intervention and de-escalation skills. Acts as member of team with crisis situation occurs, assisting others to ensure patient safety.
- Completes accurate assessments of patients utilizing clinical skills. Assists care coordination department as requested.
- Displays a thorough knowledge of confidentiality. Completes releases appropriately. Demonstrates knowledge of HIPAA regulations and abides by those standards.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of all clinical regulations, including TJC, Medicaid, and state and federal laws.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or is qualified by education and experience in the social services needs of patients with psychiatric and substance abuse issues.
- State Licensure - Current unencumbered clinical social work or counseling license
- CPR and CPI Certification within 30 day of employment
Experience:
- Prior work with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
- Inpatient healthcare experience.
- Prior management experience.
