Licensed Clinical Social Worker needed in White Marsh, MD! Needed for 12-week assignment, must have active MD license.

General job duties. Types of procedures required. Complete Behavioral Health assessments/intakes for children ages 4-18, including psychosocial history, DSM 5 diagnosis, and treatment plan. Provide individual and group psychotherapy to children, adolescents, families, and parents. Make CPS (child protective services) reports when needed. Be able to access for suicidality and create safety plans. Provider will see 7-8 patients per day. Caseload will include a mix of transfer and new patients.

Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Prefer at least 5 years post master’s experience. Individual and group psychotherapy experience required. Comfortable assessing, diagnosing, and treating children of all ages with a wide range of diagnoses and functioning.

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
MD state LCSW-C license

Shift or schedule requirements.
8 hour days, Monday through Friday with one day until 7:00 pm.

Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. 1 full day of EMR (electronic medical record) training and 1 full day of Clinical Orientation with Behavioral Health Manager. On going: 1 hour week of peer consultation and 1 hour per week of Supervisor consultation.

The White Marsh Behavioral Health Department is located in Kaiser Permanente Medical Center which includes Primary Care, Laboratory, Radiology, and Pharmacy. The Behavioral Health department includes 3 Psychotherapist, 1 Psychiatrist and 1 Mental Health Assistant. Seeking 12 week maternity coverage for current provider from 2/23/15-5/15/15.
