Although COVID-19 itself is no longer an immediate threat in the long term care (LTC) environment, the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral sequalae of this past year are evident, and we at Deer Oaks are committed to doing our part to help individuals and facilities recover. We offer geriatric-focused training and APA-accredited continuing education to our providers to assist in providing a foundation of relevant knowledge, in addition to offering consultation with colleagues to help support our new providers. We have opportunities for providing in-person diagnostic assessments, individual psychotherapy, and neuropsychological testing.
