Seeking a Full-Time Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)!
Details:
Working in collaboration with the clinical and medical staff, the LICSW will address social, emotional, and financial issues, adjustments, and complications of illness resulting in barriers to treatment, risk to patient health/safety, and obstacles to continuing care. Provide assessment, counseling, information, referrals, and advocacy services, as well as provide other resource assistance to patients either directly or through consultation.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree from and accredited School of Social Work
- Current NH State Licensure as LICSW
- Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in a health care setting
Essential Functions of the position:
- Provide psychosocial services to individuals, groups of patients, and families whose physical or emotional functioning has been impaired due to illness.
- Complete psychosocial assessments of patients and families as requested.
- Assist patients and families in adapting to difficult and complicated situations
- Perform short term crisis intervention and stabilization
- Provide consultation, assessment, referral, and coordination of cases of suspected abuse, neglect, or domestic violence
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

This facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering medical, surgical, and intensive care to the community. They also have a wide variety of outpatient services available including cardiac and physical rehabilitation, full-staffed oncology department, 24-hour emergency care, a fully-equipped laboratory, and an extensive radiology department.
