Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric - (RRT - Peds - Pedi)
StartDate: 07/19/2021Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1400.00 - 1600.00

Looking for Pediatric ICU experience or at least experience with pediatric patients on ventilators. Many of candidates state pediatric (floor or general care) experience but it is not ICU or with ventilators. Only accepting Registered Respiratory Therapists. Just Certification (CRT) is not accepted.Minimum 2-3 years of job related experience required; Minimum 3-5 years of job related experience preferred;BLS, NRP (NICU core), and PALS certification within 6 months of hire required. RRT recognized by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and active Texas license required;RRT-NPS recognized by the NBRC within 6 months of hire (within Population Health, this certification can be obtained within 1 year of date of hire) required;BLS instructor for patient educators providing caregiver CPR required;Asthma Educator for patient educators preferred;BLS, NRP, PALS instructor optional for all others preferred;NRP optional for all others preferred. The candidates will need to be Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT). Neonatal / Pediatric Specialty credential (NPS) preferred but not required. Key skills for PICU - Servo I ventilator; EPIC charting; NIV; vest therapy; IPV; Cough Assist device (T70); Trilogy 202 vent; V60 NIV vent; Optiflow HFNC
