INDEPENDENCE, MO. START DATE: 10/21/2019 for 12 weeks. SHIFT: Opening #1, #2, and #3 for 6:00AM-6:30PM. Opening #4 and #5 for 6:00PM-6:30AM. REQUIRED SKILLS: Certifications Required: CRT, RRT and a Missouri respiratory license. 2+ years of experience AND the most recent 2 years MUST be in a hospital setting ONLY. There is a 50 mile radius rule. No more than a 3 month work history gap in the last year. 285 bed facility. Type of equipment : Draeger Evita XL, NICU VN500, V-60 BiPAP, Vision, EasyOne Bedside Spirometry Devices, SiPAP, RAM cannula, High Flow Oxygen adult & NICU, Rapidpoint 500 ABG instruments, Aerobika, AeroEclipse BAN, Aerogen, CapnoStream 20, Capnostream 385, autotitrate CPAP, PB980, Parapac, LTV 1200, Neptune Humidification systems. Documentation system: Meditech. Scheduling requirements: three 12-hour shifts per week/every other weekend. Floating policy: any RT can work anywhere needed. Patient Experience requirements: High level compassionate care, AIDET, teamwork. Certifications: BLS and NRP for NICU. Requested Skill Set: All aspects of hospital provided Respiratory Care: ABGs, Bedside PFTs, HHN, PD&V, oxygen via NC, Venti, NRM, High Flow, Trach care, vents, BiPAPs, CPAP, transport vents, and vest. Must have: At least 1 NICU experienced day shift therapist! SiPAP, VN500, Nitric, Oscillator, RAM cannula, High Flow, Ability to deliver surfactant, attend high risk deliveries. Advanced skills needed: Competent with Resuscitator Bags, ability to function well in a Code Blue/RRT situation, great teamwork, communication, and attitude. Procedures performed on unit: All aspects of respiratory care except: ECMO, Adult Nitric/Oscillation, and PH treatment.
