Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist ensures quality Respiratory care is given, equipment is used correctly, and appropriate outcomes are achieved. The Respiratory Therapist uses technical and clinical expertise to manage different patients in varying situations. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the patient record and for documenting and communicating both positive and negative outcomes to the physician as necessary. The Respiratory Therapist may assist in the production, development, and implementation of specific departmental marketing plans. Through direct communication with referral sources, increased referrals in targeted areas where growth is desired will be accomplished and maintained.
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred. CRT may be considered.
- One year experience preferred.
- State License required with Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Medicine.
