SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • An active Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
  • Knowledge of respiratory care standards and protocols normally acquired through graduation from an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care with an Associate Degree.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care or Biological Sciences beneficial.
  • One year of critical care experience and experience in pulmonary function or cardiopulmonary lab beneficial.
  • Registered RRT by the National Board of Respiratory Care, or registry eligible and obtained within one year of hire required.
  • Active membership in the American Association for Respiratory Care, experience with electrocardiography, arterial monitoring and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) beneficial.
SCHEDULE
  • Night shift working 40 hours per week, 5:15 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • Every third holiday rotation
  • Benefit eligible including health & welfare, company matched retirement and paid time off (PTO).
Aspirus Langlade Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Antigo, Wisconsin. The hospital admits 1,300 inpatients annually with 62,000 outpatient visits each year. The Emergency Department has more than 12,000 patient visits each year. We average 180-200 births per year and perform 1,500 surgeries annually. The hospital holds The Joint Commission-National Quality Gold Seal Approval.
