StartDate: 10/11/2021Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $1250.00 - 1600.00
Effective October 1st, 2021 all contractors at Essentia Health must show proof of 1st dose vaccine, or provide an exemption for review. By November 1st, all contractors must then show proof of completed COVID vaccine series, or have approved Exemptions. Failure to provide proof of vaccine or approved exemption will result in cancelation of the contract. 2+ years of Recent HOSPITAL experience. 50-mile radius rule. No more than a 3-month work history gap in the last year. Must have active and valid Respiratory Therapist licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice upon hire. Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable to Essentia Health's insurance provider. Provides respiratory care through patient assessment, planning, intervention, education and evaluation. Performs all general and critical care respiratory care procedures and diagnostics on patients ages infant through adult. These duties include but are not limited to; mechanical ventilation, airway management, critical care transport, arterial blood gas puncture, medication delivery, bronchial hygiene, patient assessments and education.
