Registered Respiratory Therapist - RRT

Seeking a full time Registered Respiratroy Therapist to join a great team in Southern VA! This facility is located in a great location near the North Carolina border.

Summary:
-Examines patients with breathing-related conditions and conducts diagnostic testing. Consults with physicians to develop and implement a treatment plan for the patient. Performs physiotherapy and other treatments and teaches patients to use medications.

-The position is full time / permanent offering a competitive compensation and benefits.

-10 hour night shift

Requirements:

Minimum Education
Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care Program, with an A.A.S. degree, or Certification of Graduation.

Required Skills
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Skills
Licenses: Licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia, to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Certification by the American Heart Association inCardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation Basic Life Support. Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT). Minimum Work Experience
One year of critical care experience, to include hemodynamic monitoring, bronchoscopy assistance, and mechanical ventilation set-up, management and patient care assessment. One year of routine respiratory care experience required. Graduation from an Associate Degree level program can be substituted for one year of experience. For more details please submit your resume.
