Job Description
A hospital in the Port Richey, FL area is looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join its respiratory care team!
This is a great opportunity to work in an acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center and an established cardiac program!
Position Highlights:

Full-time, permanent position

Night shift with rotating weekends
-
290-bed acute care hospital
-
Level II Trauma Center
-
Comprehensive cardiac and open-heart surgery program
-
Collaborative respiratory care team
Responsibilities:
-
Assess patients and develop individualized respiratory care plans
-
Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators
-
Administer routine and complex respiratory treatments to patients of all ages
-
Monitor patient responses and maintain accurate documentation
-
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care
Qualifications:
-
Current Florida RRT license required
-
RRT candidates only — CRTs will not be considered
-
Completion of an approved respiratory care program (vocational/technical or Associate's degree)
-
Bachelor's degree preferred
-
Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
-
ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 6 months of hire
