Registered Respiratory Therapist- Lake Mary, FL

A hospital in the Lake Mary, FL area is looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join its respiratory care team!

This is a great opportunity to work in an acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center, providing respiratory care to a variety of patient populations. Both day and night shifts are available!

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and perform diagnostic respiratory testing

• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments

• Initiate, monitor, and manage invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation

• Assist with airway management and emergency resuscitation

• Monitor patient responses and communicate changes to the care team

• Assist with transporting ventilator-dependent patients

Qualifications:

• Current NBRC RRT credential and Florida state respiratory therapy registration required

• Graduate of an approved two-year respiratory care program (Associate's degree or equivalent)

• At least 6 months of recent acute care RRT experience preferred

• New graduates may be considered

• BLS required within 30 days of employment

• ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 6 months of employment
