Job Description
A healthcare organization in Miami, Florida is looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time position with mixed shifts and rotating weekends.
Position Highlights
- Full-time, mixed schedule with rotating weekends
- Provide respiratory care in an acute care setting
- Perform and document respiratory patient assessments
- Administer oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation
- Assist with airway management, ventilator-dependent patient transport, and emergency resuscitation
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RCP)
- Associate degree or vocational school graduate
- Basic Cardiac Life Support required within 30 days of starting
- Ability to perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures
- Ability to monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in respiratory status
