Job Description
A healthcare organization near Fort Walton Beach, Florida, is looking for a Respiratory Therapist for a full-time night shift position with rotating weekends.
Position Highlights
- Full-time night shift with rotating weekends
- Provide respiratory care in an acute care setting
- Perform patient assessments and diagnostic respiratory procedures
- Administer oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation
- Assist with airway management, ventilator-dependent patient transport, and emergency situations
- New graduates may be considered, with training available for the right candidate
What We’re Looking For
- Associate degree or certificate program in Respiratory Therapy
- Florida respiratory therapy licensure
- RRT or CRT candidates may be considered
- New graduates may be considered
- BLS required within 30 days of starting
- NRP required within 90 days of starting
- Strong interest in patient care and ability to work effectively with the care team
