Job Description
A healthcare organization near Port Richey, Florida, is looking for a Respiratory Therapist for a full-time night shift position with rotating weekends.
Position Highlights
- Full-time, permanent opportunity
- Night shift with rotating weekends
- Work in an acute care hospital and Level II Trauma setting
- Manage acute care ventilators for short- and long-term mechanical ventilation
- Perform routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures for patients of all ages
- Develop and implement respiratory care plans based on patient needs
What We’re Looking For
- RRT required — CRTs are not being accepted
- Active Florida Respiratory Therapist license
- Completion of a vocational/technical or AMA-approved respiratory care program; Associate’s degree required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Active American Heart Association BLS
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 6 months of hire
