Director of Respiratory Therapy – Merrimack, NH 03054

Location: Merrimack, New Hampshire 03054
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $95,000–$150,000 annually
Additional Incentives: Sign-On Bonus + Relocation Assistance

We are seeking an experienced Director of Respiratory Therapy for a permanent leadership opportunity in the Merrimack, New Hampshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Respiratory Therapist ready to lead a respiratory care department while overseeing clinical operations, staff, quality, budgets, and program development.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all clinical and non-clinical aspects of Respiratory Care Services
  • Ensure high-quality patient care and strong departmental performance
  • Plan, organize, and evaluate departmental resources
  • Oversee respiratory therapy staff, scheduling, supervision, and development
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Develop and maintain clinical standards of practice
  • Maintain strong relationships with physicians, referral sources, employees, and other departments
  • Support program development and organizational initiatives
  • Participate in marketing efforts and community service activities
  • Maintain current professional and clinical knowledge
  • Support the overall mission and goals of the hospital

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Required
  • New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner License – Required
  • 5+ years of Respiratory Therapy experience – Preferred
  • Respiratory Therapy leadership, supervisory, management, or director-level experience strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical, operational, communication, and team leadership skills

Compensation & Benefits
