A hospital in the Haverhill, New Hampshire area is looking for a Respiratory Therapist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an RT looking for a 4-day workweek, a predictable schedule, and the ability to pick up additional hours for those interested in overtime.

Position Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients across a variety of clinical settings.

• Perform respiratory assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered.

• Manage oxygen therapy, ventilators, and other respiratory equipment.

• Assist with airway management and emergency respiratory procedures.

• Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate changes to the healthcare team.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow established respiratory care protocols.

• Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.

• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities.

Schedule

4 × 10-hour shifts

The position also includes overnight on-call responsibilities. For Respiratory Therapists interested in earning additional income, overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist credential/certification as required.

• New graduates may be considered depending on experience and credentials.

• Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

• New Hampshire licensure or eligibility required.
