Respiratory Therapist

Location: Cookeville, TN Area
Permanent Direct Hire | Full-Time

We are seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join a growing hospital respiratory care team in Middle Tennessee. This is a great opportunity to provide comprehensive respiratory care in a supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory treatments to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients
• Monitor patients receiving oxygen therapy, ventilator support, and aerosol treatments
• Perform pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas collection as needed
• Assist physicians during emergency airway management and critical care procedures
• Maintain respiratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions and home care equipment
• Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Current RRT or CRT credential
• Tennessee Respiratory Care license (or eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred depending on department assignment
• Previous acute care experience preferred
