Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)

Location: Kenai, AK 99611 (Approximately 15 minutes from Kenai)

Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts | Days or Nights Available

A well-established acute care hospital on Alaska's beautiful Kenai Peninsula is seeking Respiratory Therapists to join its growing team. Multiple full-time openings are available on both day and night 12-hour shifts.

This is an excellent opportunity for a respiratory therapist looking to work in a collaborative hospital environment while enjoying the outdoor lifestyle Alaska has to offer.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory care for patients across all age groups
  • Perform respiratory assessments and administer prescribed therapies
  • Manage ventilators and assist with airway management
  • Obtain and analyze arterial blood gases
  • Respond to emergency respiratory situations
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • CRT or RRT credential required
  • Current BLS required
  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred or willingness to obtain based on department requirements
  • Critical care experience is a plus

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Days or nights available
  • Rotating weekends/holidays as required
