Responsibilities

  • Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications
  • Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory equipment
  • Perform diagnostic testing and patient evaluations
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to develop care plans
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures

Qualifications

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Current state licensure or eligibility required
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Prior hospital or acute care experience preferred
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
