Job Description
NEW Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Opportunity – Full Time
Join a nationally recognized Florida healthcare facility offering advanced trauma, burn, stroke, and critical care services in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Mixed shifts
- Rotating weekends
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient respiratory assessments and document findings
- Conduct diagnostic testing and evaluate patient response to respiratory therapy
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
- Assist with airway placement and mechanical ventilation management
- Monitor ventilated patients and respond to emergent respiratory situations
- Support transport of ventilator-dependent patients
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary patient care teams
Requirements:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RCP) credential required
- Associate degree or vocational respiratory therapy program completion required
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
