Job Description
NEW Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Opportunity – Full-Time
We’re hiring a dedicated RRT to join a collaborative care team providing high-quality respiratory services across acute and chronic patient populations.
What You’ll Do:
- Assess and treat respiratory and cardiac patients (routine + emergency) throughout hospitalization
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized respiratory care plans
- Administer respiratory therapies and monitor patient progress toward goals
- Manage chronic pulmonary conditions (COPD, asthma, pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, etc.)
- Educate patients, caregivers, and clinical staff on respiratory care and treatment plans
- Collaborate with care teams to improve treatment outcomes and discharge planning
- Assist with DME coordination and transition of care
- Maintain equipment readiness and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Participate in education, training, and process improvement initiatives
What You Need:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- RRT credential (NBRC) + state licensure required
- BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 6 months
- Acute care experience preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
