Job Description

NEW Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Opportunity – Full-Time

We’re hiring a dedicated RRT to join a collaborative care team providing high-quality respiratory services across acute and chronic patient populations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assess and treat respiratory and cardiac patients (routine + emergency) throughout hospitalization
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized respiratory care plans
  • Administer respiratory therapies and monitor patient progress toward goals
  • Manage chronic pulmonary conditions (COPD, asthma, pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, etc.)
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and clinical staff on respiratory care and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with care teams to improve treatment outcomes and discharge planning
  • Assist with DME coordination and transition of care
  • Maintain equipment readiness and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Participate in education, training, and process improvement initiatives

What You Need:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • RRT credential (NBRC) + state licensure required
  • BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 6 months
  • Acute care experience preferred
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
