Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Location: Presque Isle, ME
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (36 hours/week)

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join a dedicated healthcare team in the Presque Isle area. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity offering a consistent schedule and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused setting.

In this role, you will provide respiratory care to patients across a variety of clinical situations, supporting both routine and critical care needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed
• Perform patient assessments and monitor respiratory status
• Operate and manage ventilators, oxygen therapy devices, and other respiratory equipment
• Assist in emergency situations, including airway management and code response
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all protocols and regulations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• RRT or CRT certification required
• Active Maine state license (or eligibility) preferred
• Prior clinical experience preferred (new grads may be considered)
• Strong critical thinking and patient care skills
