A well-established community hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join its growing respiratory care team. This modern acute-care facility offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, advanced medical technology, and a collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient care.

What You’ll Do

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering life-saving respiratory care and supporting patients through both routine treatment and critical situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient respiratory status through physical examination, breath sound interpretation, and airway evaluation
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and airway clearance treatments
  • Initiate, monitor, and adjust invasive and noninvasive ventilation
  • Assist with artificial airway placement and respond to respiratory emergencies
  • Provide respiratory care across emergency, critical care, and acute care settings
  • Support newborn stabilization during deliveries when needed
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and equipment
  • Maintain respiratory equipment, ensure proper cleaning, and follow infection control standards
  • Safely transport ventilated patients when necessary

Qualifications

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligible)
  • BLS / CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Associate degree, certificate, or vocational training in Respiratory Therapy
