Job Description

Seeking a full time Respiratory Therapist to join a great team in IL!

Shift: Varied Shifts are available

Compensation:

Offering competitive compensation (including shift differentials) plus full benefits package

Sign on Bonus:

-Offering $20k sign on bonus for candidates with 2+ years of experience

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Associates degree

Successful completion of respiratory therapy program from an accredited school.

Must be a credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.

Must have a current Respiratory Care Practitioner license and current National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentials if credentialed after July 1, 2002 or a new graduate therapist must successfully pass both the NBRC TMC (The Multiple Choice) and CSE (Clinical Simulation Exam) exams.

Proof of Application must be made for appropriate state licensure before orientation to the department can begin.

Licensure must be obtained within six months of hire for new graduates per the Licensure Practice Act.

Experience: Must have basic electronic medical record documentation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

CPR – American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)

Specialty Requirement: AT SFMC Peoria; NICU therapists must have current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) card.

At SFMC Peoria; transport therapist must complete agility, hearing and helicopter safety training.

At SFMC Peoria; Airway Managers must complete intubation orientation and maintain a current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) card.

This is a full time/permanent role.
