Respiratory Therapist – NICU (RRT or CRT)
Location: Lake Worth, Florida
Schedule: Full-Time | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Department: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Bonus: Up to $25,000 Sign-On Bonus Available

Are you an experienced Respiratory Therapist with a passion for neonatal and critical care? Join our dedicated team in Lake Worth Beach, FL, where you’ll work in a high-acuity NICU environment providing life-sustaining respiratory care to our most vulnerable patients—newborns and premature infants.

Position Overview
As a NICU Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care to neonates in a Level III or higher NICU setting. You’ll collaborate closely with neonatologists, nurses, and other pediatric specialists during the night shift to support optimal outcomes for critically ill infants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer neonatal respiratory therapy, including CPAP, mechanical ventilation, surfactant administration, and aerosolized medications

  • Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation

  • Monitor respiratory function and adjust ventilator settings based on clinical assessment

  • Maintain and operate neonatal respiratory equipment in accordance with hospital protocols

  • Respond to neonatal codes and assist with intubation and advanced airway management

  • Document therapy sessions, changes in patient condition, and progress toward care goals

  • Collaborate with the NICU care team to ensure individualized, family-centered care plans
