Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Lancaster, NH
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Lancaster, NH. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing respiratory care to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, be compassionate, and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory therapy services to patients of all ages, including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and pulmonary rehabilitation.

  • Assess and monitor patient respiratory status, including blood gas analysis and spirometry.

  • Administer aerosol medications and other prescribed treatments.

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans.

  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and techniques to improve lung function.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital policies.

  • Maintain patient records and document care accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

  • Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in New Hampshire.

  • NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) certification required.

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in a hospital setting preferred, but new graduates will be considered.
