Job Description
Respiratory Therapist needed in the Tampa Bay area.
Acute care hospital located along the Florida Gulf Coast region just north of the Tampa Bay area.
Hospital services include a dedicated orthopedic bone and joint center, cardiac catheterization lab and freestanding emergency department. They also provide Surgical services which include robotic arm assisted, minimally invasive options for general and bariatric surgeries.
This is a great opportunity to work with a great team of medial professionals and live in a gorgeous area of Florida. This could be a Permanent or Temporary to Permeant position.
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for direct/indirect patient care in ECC, Cardiac and Med/Surg floors and other areas as assigned. RRT would be responsible for promoting and maintaining patient care through the implementation of physician's orders and department protocols. RRT would also be assisting with special procedures, ventilator management, performing arterial cannulation. RRT will be working alongside and also assisting Supervisor, Charge Nurse, Staff Nurse and Physician in informing of all patient care issues/problems in a timely manner.
Ideal Candidate would :
- Have at least 1 years of Respiratory Therapist experience.
- Have Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
- Have a current Florida RRT license
Must have current certifications in:
- BLS - Basic Life Support,
- ACLS - Advance Cardiac Life Support
- NPR - Neonatal Resuscitation within 90 days
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
