Job Description
Respiratory Therapist
- Responsible for the assessment, planning and administration of all respiratory care offered by the Respiratory Care Department.
- Provide services to all ages (to include neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) in accordance with the Policy and Procedures.
- Delivery of quality patient care, reassessment of patient care needs, education of patient and family, as established by department policy and procedures and with medical guidance.

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Requirements
- Graduate of an Advanced Level Respiratory Therapist Educational Program or two (2) year Respiratory college
- Licensure, Certification, Registration: CRRT certified by N.B.R.C.; RRT registry preferred
- Current CT state licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- ACLS, within 6 months of hire
- Current PALS or STABLE Certification and NRP certification preferred
- Epic knowledge
