Job Description
Vascular Technologist - Veterans Affairs Medical Center - Pittsburgh, PA
- 2 years of experience seeing at least 6 patients per day
- Certified RVT, ARDMS
- Must have BLS
- 8:00am – 4:30pm or 8:30am – 5:00pm (two shifts)
- On-Call after 5:00pm Monday – Friday and all day on weekends
- Complete required test(s)
- Document test(s) into electronic medical record
- Call patients from waiting room and take back to the examination room
- Scope of Care: Contractor’s Vascular Technologist(s) shall be responsible for providing Vascular Laboratory procedures, including, but not limited: vascular studies to include but not limited to: Carotid duplex, Aorta duplex, Vein mapping, Venous duplex, Arterial physiology studies, Arterial duplex, Renal/SMA arterial duplex, Arterial Bypass grafts, Dialysis Access grafts, pre-op dialysis access evaluations, venous insufficiency exams, and PVR/ABI’s.
