Associate Director of Cytogenetics and FISH needed in the heart of Tennessee! This is a full-time, permanent position.

ABMGG Board Certification in Clinical Cytogenetics is REQUIRED. (Dual Certification in Molecular Genetics preferred)

Job Summary

The Associate/Assistant Director of Cytogenetics, FISH and Arrays is responsible for clinical case work in the division of Molecular Pathology. Job title will be commensurate with training and qualifications.

EDUCATION & LICENSURE:

  • PhD, MD, and/or DO with ABMGG certification in Clinical Cytogenetics (dual certification in Molecular Genetics preferred) or Laboratory Genetics and Genomics. Interest/experience in bioinformatics would be considered a plus.
  • Must hold a valid Tennessee Laboratory Directors License or State eligible.

Experience

  • Must be able to make independent decisions, process information accurately, accurately report financials, manage multiple projects simultaneously and be organized.
