Experienced MRI Technologist needed in Central TX

Quick Facts -
- Joint commission licensed 188- bed acute care facility
- One of the largest rural hospitals in Texas
- Imaging and diagnostic services are provided both in-house and in a freestanding outpatient center
- Regular shift will be Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Equipment: Siemens Magnatom C and G.E. Excite 8 channel 1.5T
- Two years Radiology Tech experience required. One year specific experience in MRI preferred
Job Description:
Performs a variety of MRI imaging procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Responsible for obtaining MRI images of diagnostic quality and related quality control monitoring, while adhering to departmental standards and protocols. Responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Collaborates with other professionals to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes. Participates in PI activities.

The imaging and diagnostic services are provided both in-house and in a freestanding outpatient center and they are a level 4 trauma center providing 24/7 emergent care with on-site access to helicopter transport.
