(Archived) Interventional Radiology Technologist / Special Procedures

Seeking a Full-Time Permanent Interventional Radiology Technologist or Special Procedures Tech

This medical center is a nearly 400-bed acute care facility. The facility belongs to a health system of multiple acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals. In total, the health system serves over a million patients each year. They are one of the largest systems in the state receiving no direct tax support.

Daily Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostic, angiographic and interventional imaging procedures
• Evaluates and determines diagnostic image quality of recorded images
• Works to promote employer, patient, and physician satisfaction
• Enters charges (tests and supplies) orders, and completes exams
• Provides comprehensive patient and family teaching based upon their individualized needs
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives
• Participates in staff/student orientation and training

Requires: Florida CRT license, AART, BLS

Candidates should have at least 2 years experience in interventional radiology. Not only as a diagnostic Rad Tech but must have been or are currently working in interventional radiology.
