WEST READING, PENNSYLVANIA. GE & Siemens experience required. 2+ years of experience, ARRT-CT, SIEMENS CT EXPERIENCE, and BLS. and 50 mile radius rule. Siemens experience desired. The CT Technologist performs CT imaging according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician. They must demonstrate an understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. One must maintain knowledge in radiation protection and safety. Preparation and administration of contrast media is performed in accordance with hospital policy. The use of critical thinking, professional and ethical judgment is to be demonstrated in the quality of care delivered. West Reading is a borough in Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 4,212 at the 2010 census. It contains a vibrant main street and the large Reading Hospital and Medical Center. It is also the site of the VF Outlet Village, one of the largest outlet malls in the United States.
